CASACUSIA is an NGO that accompanies people with hearing loss and their families so that no one goes through it alone. We build community, tools, and a network that grows every day.
Disability is not the silenceIt's the loneliness.
The problem with hearing loss is not the lack of hearing: it's not being present. Since it's easy to hide, we stop participating and asking questions to avoid frustration. That pushes us away from people and social environments.
That's why Casacusia exists: so that asking is normal. To meet other people who understand you and share what we go through. In short: to see that we are not the only ones.
We believe life is about living,not just surviving.
We all deserve a full life, connected with other people and being part of something.
